This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +8 more states.
• Oversee and sustain the enterprise Google Workspace ecosystem, encompassing Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Calendar, and related services.
• Administer user accounts, organizational units, groups, roles, and permissions via the Google Admin Console.
• Implement, uphold, and supervise MFA, DLP, endpoint management, and access controls.
• Assess system health, performance, and usage metrics using administrative dashboards and reporting tools.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for incidents, service requests, and escalations related to Google Workspace.
• Diagnose mail delivery, file access, sharing permissions, synchronization, and user provisioning challenges.
• Assist with identity and access management integration alongside Active Directory and SSO solutions.
• Partner with cybersecurity and compliance teams to adhere to DoDEA policies, RMF controls, and DoD security mandates.
• Create and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base entries.
• Offer user guidance, training resources, and best practices for Google Workspace.
• Facilitate audits, inspections, and reporting obligations concerning system usage, access, and compliance.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher; candidates lacking at least a Secret clearance will not be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or 4 additional years of pertinent work experience.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in system administration, cloud services, or enterprise collaboration platforms.
• Proven experience in managing Google Workspace within a large enterprise or educational setting.
• In-depth understanding of identity and access management, including integration with directory services like Active Directory.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles, focusing on access control, data protection, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience supporting users across various locations in a global setting.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Google Workspace Administrator Certification (preferred).
• Experience in K-12 or higher education environments (preferred).
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks, including RMF, STIGs, and IL requirements (preferred).
• Experience with scripting/automation tools such as GAM, PowerShell, and APIs (preferred).
• ITIL Foundation or similar service management experience (preferred).
• Candidates must reside in the U.S. and be capable of working Eastern Standard Time during standard business hours.
• Remote work environment.
• Standard work hours from Monday to Friday, 0730–1730 EST, excluding federal holidays.
• Occasional after-hours support may be necessary for maintenance, deployments, or incident response.
