This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Direct the daily operations of the nursing facility in compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Ensure the delivery of quality care while analyzing the overall functioning of the nursing facility.
• Manage the comprehensive operational activities of the facility.
• Oversee daily census monitoring.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct facility programs and activities.
• Compile and create budget projections, revenue, and expense reports; ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Develop and maintain written policies, procedures, and professional standards of practice.
• Formulate policies and procedures and hold direct reports accountable for adherence.
• Model and uphold the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Engage with community groups and cultivate relationships with local hospital leadership.
• Monitor industry regulations, laws, and compliance updates, implementing necessary changes.
• Understand staffing-level requirements and comply with industry and company standards.
• Oversee the execution of policy and procedural updates.
• Address HR issues and manage risk situations effectively.
• Supervise capital improvement projects.
• Participate in advisory committees.
• Ensure that personnel, residents, and visitors adhere to safety regulations, including fire protection/prevention, smoking regulations, and infection control protocols.
• Build and maintain a strong reputation within the industry and the community.
• Collaborate with HR, Therapy, Clinical, and Finance support teams to achieve or surpass objectives.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors.
• Support clinical initiatives through quality assurance measures and accountability.
• Monitor daily collections and accounts receivable.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and reduce turnover.
• Regularly review quality metrics.
• Assist survey team members by providing necessary information during facility inspections.
• Conduct daily meetings during inspections to review survey findings and develop action/correction plans.
• Assess deficiencies noted in exit conferences and provide information to facilitate their removal or reduction.
• Aid in the development of corrective action plans with timelines and monitoring methods to prevent recurrence.
• Manage and oversee multiple employee levels, including hiring, training, budgeting, performance evaluation, rewards, discipline, complaints, problem resolution, and terminations.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent experience.
• Master’s Degree or MBA is preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Capable of presenting information and responding to inquiries from managers and employees.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical scenarios.
• Skilled in solving practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled instructions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Must maintain licensing credentials for an Administrator.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Prolonged use of desktop or laptop computers is required.
• Capability to sit, stand, walk, talk, read, and hear.
• Proficient in using office equipment including copier/scanner/fax, telephone, and calculator.
