This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead the daily operations of the nursing facility in compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Ensure high-quality care and evaluate the overall functioning of the nursing facility.
• Oversee the general operational performance of the facility.
• Track daily census figures.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, assess, and direct facility programs and activities.
• Generate reports on budget forecasts, revenue, and expenditures, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
• Establish and maintain written policies, procedures, and professional standards of practice.
• Create policies and procedures while holding direct reports accountable.
• Exemplify the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Engage with community groups and foster relationships with local hospital leadership.
• Keep abreast of industry regulations, laws, and compliance updates, implementing necessary changes.
• Supervise staffing levels and ensure adherence to industry and company standards.
• Direct the implementation of policy and procedural modifications.
• Address HR concerns and risk management issues within the facility.
• Oversee capital improvement projects.
• Participate in advisory committees.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations for personnel, residents, and visitors, including fire protection/prevention, smoking regulations, and infection control.
• Cultivate and uphold a strong reputation within the industry and community.
• Foster collaboration with HR, Therapy, Clinical, and Finance support teams to achieve or exceed objectives.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors.
• Support clinical initiatives by understanding quality assurance measures and holding staff accountable.
• Monitor daily collections and accounts receivable.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and reduce turnover.
• Regularly review Quality Measures.
• Assist survey team members by providing information that may help prevent deficiency citations.
• Conduct daily meetings during facility inspections to discuss survey findings and develop corrective action plans.
• Review deficiencies noted in exit conferences and provide information to support the removal or reduction of deficiencies.
• Aid in creating plans of correction with timelines and monitoring methods to prevent recurrence.
• Manage and supervise various levels of employees, including hiring, training, budgeting, performance evaluations, rewards, disciplinary actions, complaint resolution, and terminations.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent experience.
• Master's Degree or MBA is preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Capable of presenting information and responding to inquiries from managers and employees.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world situations.
• Competent in solving practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite products.
• Must maintain licensing credentials for an Administrator.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Prolonged use of desktop or laptop computers is required.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, read, or hear.
• Frequent use of office equipment including copier/scanner/fax, telephone, and calculator.
