Administrador/a de Bases de Datos, DBA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Administration, installation, configuration, and maintenance of MongoDB, DB2, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server

• Management of replica sets and high availability environments

• Monitoring, analysis, and optimization of database performance

• Management of backups, restorations, and incident recovery

• Administration of users, permissions, and security policies

• Management of capacity, storage, and growth

• Resolution of technical issues and performance problems

• Version updates, patch applications, and preventive maintenance

• Participation in migrations and infrastructure changes

• Automation of administrative tasks and technical documentation

• Familiarization with existing systems during the initial months

• Collaboration with the team to optimize data platforms

• Acceptance of direct management of assigned operations

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience as a DBA, particularly in MongoDB administration

• Hands-on experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and operation of databases in production

• Real experience in managing DB2, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server

• Experience in high availability, replication, and recovery

• Advanced knowledge of backup, restoration, and tuning

• Experience managing incidents and ensuring service continuity

• Knowledge of on-premise and cloud environments

• Experience in critical enterprise environments (preferred)

• Automation through scripting (preferred)

• Participation in database migrations and upgrades (preferred)

• Monitoring and observability tools (preferred)
