This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Instruct designated courses in Radiologic Technology and Medical Terminology
• Ensure high-quality teaching while fostering a positive educational atmosphere
• Assist and assess student progress
• Conduct assigned courses via online platforms
• Keep accurate attendance records
• Assess and report grades within the specified timelines set by the University
• Establish a welcoming, inclusive, and effective learning space
• Aid in resolving student concerns related to course material
• Offer feedback regarding the effectiveness of the course
• Engage in departmental meetings and mandatory training sessions
• Pursue personal professional growth
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Faculty
• Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Sciences, or another healthcare or science-related discipline
• Master’s Degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Health Information Management, or a related health-focused field for the Medical Terminology course
• Current certification and registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or its equivalent, in radiography (R)
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in the relevant professional field
• Academic and/or professional qualifications suitable for the subject matter being taught
• Familiarity with course creation, instruction, assessment, and academic advising
• Dedication to fostering collaborative and collegial relationships
• Capacity to manage confidential and sensitive information
• Understanding of higher education regulations, compliance standards, and accrediting bodies
• Proficiency with computers
• Strong skills in organization and interpersonal communication
• Ability to communicate professionally and collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and the professional community
• Excellent multitasking abilities
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Comprehensive understanding of radiologic technology
• Adherence to all accreditation and regulatory standards
• Preferred: Master of Science, Master of Healthcare Administration, or another healthcare or related field
• Preferred: Five years of clinical experience in Radiologic Technology
• Preferred: 1–3 years of teaching experience in a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program at the post-secondary level
• Preferred: Additional certifications in CT, MR, CI/VI, NM, S, VS, or M
