Adjunct Faculty – Distance Learning, Online

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver program instruction in an online format for the Distance Learning course at the College of Education.

• Utilize innovative teaching methods, state-of-the-art technologies, and current industry trends.

• Equip students with essential skills and promote engaging classroom discussions.

• Evaluate student performance and prepare them to excel as leaders in their respective fields.

• Lead weekly main discussion forums in the online learning environment.

• Comply with weekly grading standards, deadlines, and schedules.

• Address students’ inquiries and emails within specified timeframes.

• Serve as a positive role model for students by endorsing the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Doctorate in Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Design, Distance Education, or a related discipline.

• Minimum: Master’s degree in one of these areas AND two fields of exceptional expertise.

• A valid state teacher certification is mandatory.

• A minimum of five years of teaching experience in PreK-12th grade or as a technology specialist or director of technology is required.

• Proficiency in facilitating online instruction, discussions, grading, and student interactions.

• Commitment to supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and the Mission of Grand Canyon University.
