This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Build and enhance relationships with national, regional, and custom home builders, developers, general contractors, architects, interior designers, and design firms.
• Establish the company as a reliable partner and preferred supplier.
• Create and execute sales strategies and programs aimed at increasing market share, boosting product penetration, and achieving revenue targets.
• Oversee a portfolio of builder accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to uncover growth opportunities.
• Identify and pursue new business ventures within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, and operations teams.
• Develop sales forecasts, set performance objectives, and track progress against these targets.
• Maintain product knowledge and offer guidance and support to customers.
• Report sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback to the Regional Sales Director.
• Provide training and product demonstrations to builder partners, developers, and general contractors.
• Travel within the assigned territory to engage with partners, attend industry events, and support regional sales initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; relevant industry experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience within the building industry, focusing on regional custom home builders, multifamily, and commercial projects.
• Experience in the Stone Industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and the needs of the builder segment.
• Proven capability to build and sustain strong relationships with builder partners.
• Ability to formulate and implement sales strategies that align with broader business objectives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven decision-making approach.
• Ability to promptly and effectively address and resolve customer issues.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 75% of the time.
• Capability to attend and deliver presentations.
• Manual dexterity is required to use a desktop computer and peripherals.
• Ability to lift or move up to 10 lbs.
