This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Build and enhance relationships with architects, interior designers, design firms, builders, developers, and general contractors within the designated region.
• Serve as a reliable advisor and showcase extensive knowledge of the company's products and services.
• Drive strategies and programs for National Builder, multifamily, and commercial projects at the divisional level.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies and initiatives to expand market share, boost product penetration, and meet revenue objectives.
• Oversee a portfolio of builder accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Keep an eye on market trends, competitor actions, and customer requirements to pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Identify and pursue new business prospects with builder partners, developers, and general contractors.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, and operations teams.
• Create sales forecasts, establish performance targets, and monitor progress towards objectives.
• Offer product guidance, training, and demonstrations to builder partners and other clients.
• Regularly report to the Regional Sales Director.
• Travel within the assigned territory for customer meetings, industry events, and regional sales initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline; relevant industry experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
• At least 3-5 years of sales experience in the building industry, concentrating on regional custom home builders, multifamily, and commercial projects.
• Strong grasp of sales processes, market dynamics, and the needs of the builder segment.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with builder partners.
• Capability to devise and implement growth-focused sales strategies.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and a capacity for data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to promptly and effectively address and resolve customer issues.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 50% of the time.
• Capability to attend and deliver presentations.
• Manual dexterity to operate a desktop computer and peripherals.
• Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 10 lbs.
