
AD, National Accounts, Sales – Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive consistent and profitable growth within designated Retail sector clients
• Act as a direct representative engaging with customers
• Implement and execute customer account strategies
• Meet net sales, profit, and market share objectives for all US retail brands
• Achieve customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Create and execute annual customer plans, new product launches, and promotional strategies in alignment with Marketing and Trade Marketing initiatives
• Implement price adjustments with assigned customers
• Develop Joint Business Plans tailored for assigned customers
• Coordinate engagement strategies across essential customer levels and internal departments
• Lead negotiations with customers and manage substantial investment levels
• Provide accurate forecasts for customer invoiced sales, investment levels, net sales, and Demand Planning needs
• Conduct all operations in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is mandatory
• At least seven (7) years of experience in a sales or commercial role
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a key account retail selling environment, preferably in FMCG, E-Commerce, or Retail Pharmacy
• Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time (including overnight trips)
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and adhere to tight deadlines
• Fundamental understanding of e-commerce and CRM digital skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven track record of success in a collaborative team setting
• Experience in managing customer Profit and Loss (PNL)
• Strong understanding of retail customers, including physical stores and e-commerce, particularly within key US mass market, Pet Specialty retail, or retail pharmacy
• Excellent customer engagement skills with the ability to navigate both internal and external customer interactions
• Knowledge of commercial business planning processes, ideally within the retail sector
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently
• Self-motivated; may need to work from a home office
• Proficient in commercial selling skills, business assessment, and business acumen
• Strong planning and negotiation capabilities
• Results-driven mindset aimed at achieving internal company objectives and meeting customer KPIs
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without restrictions
• Must be prepared to undergo a drug test and post-offer physical examination, if necessary
• Must be at least 18 years of age
