This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Execute the organization's strategy for partnerships in rare disease data.
β’ Assess critical data requirements across US Commercial rare disease brands, functions, and key use cases.
β’ Develop, oversee, and enhance strategic collaborations with external data providers, platforms, and vendors.
β’ Utilize expertise in rare disease data sources, vendor capabilities, data limitations, patient identification challenges, and purpose-fit use cases to inform partnership choices.
β’ Ensure monitoring of data quality, security, privacy, and compliance standards for external data sources, platforms, and vendors.
β’ Work alongside data vendors, business stakeholders, analytics teams, field enablement, access, patient services, and cross-functional rare disease teams.
β’ Tackle data quality challenges and communicate necessary modifications.
β’ Manage adherence to data standards, data-sharing agreements, governance expectations, and internal policies.
β’ Enforce data stewardship practices across platforms, vendors, and technological solutions.
β’ Monitor data partnerships and associated expenses.
β’ Deliver performance metrics and governance reports to senior leadership.
β’ Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, enhanced governance, and improved collaboration.
β’ Comprehend business needs, propose relevant data sets, and direct teams in deriving actionable insights.
β’ Offer ongoing data advisory support regarding recurring deliverables, data outputs, availability, limitations, and suitable usage.
β’ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
β’ At least 6 years of experience in establishing and managing data partnerships, particularly in rare disease, healthcare data, data governance, data management, or similar roles.
β’ Prior experience with or for a data vendor, data provider, healthcare data platform, or analytics organization is highly preferred.
β’ In-depth knowledge of rare disease data assets, including data sourcing, patient identification, data coverage, refresh cycles, linkage, quality considerations, and fit-for-purpose business applications.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of data partnership principles, frameworks, and best practices.
β’ Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to healthcare data privacy, security, quality, compliance, and appropriate usage of rare disease data.
β’ Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and change management skills within a complex organizational framework.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Experience with IQVIA, Komodo, MMIT, Symphony, Definitive Healthcare, Veeva, claims/EHR data providers, patient services data, specialty pharmacy data, or other similar healthcare and rare disease data sources is highly desirable.
β’ Capacity to translate rare disease business needs into data solutions and guide teams in selecting and utilizing the appropriate data sets for decision-making support.
β’ Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
β’ Willingness to travel 20% domestically and/or internationally.
