Actuarial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze and project financial data to inform strategic and operational decisions.

• Establish metrics and conduct data analyses that enhance business intelligence.

• Maintain the provider revenue and expense projection model along with its related tools.

• Incorporate value-based provider effects into financial and bid projections.

• Oversee tools related to the impacts of value-based providers.

• Offer guidance on effective practices in risk modeling.

• Develop and implement processes and controls for data flow to ensure data integrity.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gain insights into business requirements and challenges.

• Diagnose issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Create cost-effective solutions for data discrepancies.

• Comprehend departmental, segmental, and organizational strategies and operational goals.

• Make decisions regarding work methods in situations that may be unclear.

• Report directly to the Actuary, Analytics/Forecasting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Successful completion of a minimum of 3 actuarial examinations.

• Ability to communicate ideas clearly in both written and spoken formats.

• Strong technical proficiency and experience with SQL, VBA, and Excel.

• Experience in Medicare.

• Eagerness to learn new tools and methodologies continuously.

• Availability to adjust work hours according to the Eastern Time Zone.

• Internet connectivity with a download speed of at least 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps.

• A dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
