This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Conduct quantitative analyses that aid in financial forecasting, medical cost assessment, revenue enhancement, reserving, pricing, risk adjustment, and value-based care initiatives.
β’ Create and sustain analytical models utilizing actuarial principles, statistical techniques, and extensive healthcare datasets.
β’ Assess financial performance, recognize trends, and facilitate strategic decision-making.
β’ Collaborate with actuaries and cross-functional business leaders to enhance operational and financial performance.
β’ Explore emerging trends and formulate data-driven recommendations.
β’ Generate reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
β’ Assist in enterprise financial planning across the Medicare Advantage sector.
β’ Optimize processes and automate analyses through SQL, Excel, Python, and other AI analytical tools.
β’ Engage in rotational assignments across various actuarial disciplines.
β’ Contribute to special projects and innovation initiatives aimed at improving healthcare affordability, operational efficiency, member outcomes, and financial performance.
β’ Foster relationships within the Actuarial organization and master analytical tools, financial models, and reporting processes.
β’ Take ownership of recurring analyses and provide timely insights for business decision-making.
β’ Advance toward actuarial credentials while developing expertise in different actuarial areas.
β’ 2β4 years of experience in healthcare finance, analytics, actuarial science, consulting, strategy, operations, or a related field.
β’ Successful completion of one or more Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams is mandatory.
β’ Preferred experience in Medicare Advantage, managed care, or value-based healthcare.
β’ Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Capacity to work with large datasets and complex business inquiries.
β’ Proficiency in SQL and Excel is required.
β’ Experience with Python, R, AI tools, GitHub, and business intelligence platforms is preferred.
β’ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
