Accuracy Checking Technician – Weekends

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Dispense all incoming prescriptions in accordance with daily operational needs.

• Assist the clinical team with daily dispensary operations.

• Adhere to P2U dispensary operational protocols while upholding high standards of dispensing quality and precision.

• Comply with all legal, regulatory, ethical, professional, and company standards.

• Function effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Meet both individual and team performance goals to support business objectives.

• Take responsibility for prescription labeling and accuracy verification.

• Ensure proper quality control practices are implemented and report any issues or suggestions for improvement to pharmacy colleagues.

• Collaborate with various teams across the organization, including Customer Service, Purchasing, Operations, and Pharmacists.

• Engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities to maintain and enhance professional expertise and skills.

• Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and aid in operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) qualification, or Pharmacy Technician qualification with ACT accreditation.

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting, including community, online, or dispensing pharmacies.

• Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of maintaining high levels of accuracy in a regulated environment.

• Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

• Proficient in IT systems and quick to learn new technologies and processes.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate-level Excel abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a capacity to work collaboratively across teams.

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve common goals and service standards.

• Demonstrates initiative, a proactive mindset in problem-solving, and a commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
