This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee accreditation programs and nurture customer relationships while ensuring exceptional service and adherence to relevant requirements.
• Organize, coordinate, and lead the accreditation assessments of inspection bodies and/or testing laboratories.
• Act as a technical expert throughout the accreditation process.
• Analyze assessment outcomes and documentation to facilitate informed accreditation decisions.
• Uphold the integrity, consistency, and impartiality of ANAB's accreditation procedures.
• Collaborate with laboratories, inspection bodies, regulatory entities, assessors, and industry specialists to enhance conformity assessment practices.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the accreditation journey.
• Track accreditation activities and timelines to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Keep abreast of applicable standards, regulations, accreditation requirements, and industry trends.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of ANAB's accreditation processes and services.
• Engage in internal audits and external evaluations of ANAB, as relevant.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline.
• 5–10 years of technical experience in inspection, mechanical testing, electrical testing, laboratory operations, or a related area.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and/or quality management systems, especially ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17025, or similar standards.
• Proven experience in project management and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in inspection, mechanical testing, electrical testing, or a related technical discipline.
• Understanding of applicable accreditation standards, quality systems, and conformity assessment principles, including ISO/IEC 17020 and/or ISO/IEC 17025.
• Experience in assessment, auditing, or accreditation is highly desirable.
• Background in leading teams, projects, assessments, or other technical initiatives is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Comfortable with learning and utilizing various electronic business systems and software platforms.
• Capable of managing priorities with minimal supervision and performing effectively under pressure.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight trips.
