This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Process and record electronic remittances from all designated payers within the anticipated Turnaround Time, utilizing macros, various computer-based tools, and multiple systems.
• Achieve weekly and monthly productivity targets following training.
• Investigate payer websites to gather posting documentation.
• Recognize issues and patterns with assigned payers.
• Ensure that aged account receivables are managed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Liaise with leadership and partner teams to guarantee precise and timely processing of remittance.
• Record accounts receivable and electronic/manual remittances from both private and government payers into the billing system.
• Utilize various reports, macros, and tools to reconcile electronic posting files with the funds received.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable.
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labcorp Revenue Cycle Management.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in healthcare, claims, explanation of benefits, cash posting, or billing.
• Ability to manage time and tasks independently while maintaining high productivity levels.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to remain adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Availability for a Saturday rotation schedule.
• Capability to work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm EST.
