Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Conduct daily phone calls for collections and send written communication for follow-ups.

• Keep comprehensive records of all collection activities.

• Offer analytical support to customers and branches by investigating and reconciling inquiries.

• Work together with OTC Cash Processors to pinpoint and address statement discrepancies.

• Oversee the collection of overdue accounts while fostering a positive customer service atmosphere.

• Collaborate with Branch Managers, Sales Representatives, Customer Service Representatives, and Equipment Coordinators.

• Build strong relationships with branches and Patterson teams, sharing achievements and successes.

• Actively participate in and propose continuous process improvement initiatives.

• Ensure that tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.

• Provide analytical support to the Accounts Receivable Manager and the Shared Services Director.

• Report directly to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Capability to positively contribute to the Accounts Receivable and Shared Services team environment.

• Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• High customer orientation.

• Dedication to Patterson’s values and professionalism through appropriate behavior at all times.

• Minimal travel with occasional on-call responsibilities for the team.

• Availability to work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) is preferred.

• Experience with SAP is preferred.

• Strong telephone communication skills are preferred.
