Accounts Receivable Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Collect client receivables in accordance with contractual agreements.

• Review, maintain, and resolve disputes.

• Analyze Clinical Trial revenue and expenses.

• Assess study accounts receivable aging, patient accounts, pass-through invoices, study finance trackers, patient trackers, and contracts.

• Collaborate with various departments to validate charges and collect payments from sponsors.

• Support Finance and Budget & Contracts departments with designated projects and tasks.

• Evaluate multiple documents and intricate data to ascertain collectability of receivables.

• Monitor assigned accounts for discrepancies, non-payments, and delayed payments.

• Reach out to Sponsors/CROs via phone regarding overdue/open invoices and prompt payments.

• Cultivate business relationships with Sponsors/CROs as the primary receivables contact for Sarah Cannon Research Institute.

• Reconcile financial study data with that of Sponsor/CRO.

• Review, interpret, and discuss contracts both internally and with clients to address payment or dispute challenges.

• Assess medical procedure invoices against contracts to determine reimbursement eligibility.

• Identify and report trends adversely affecting payments or workflows, collaborating with the supervisor for resolution.

• Work alongside Accounting, Treasury, and Contracting to resolve billing inquiries.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in reading and understanding complex documents while identifying financial impacts.

• Clinical Research experience is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with clinical financial systems and EMRs is essential.

• Must be located in the US.
