This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver Accounts Receivable and Collections services to clients across all supported business lines.
• Serve as a knowledgeable advisor on Accounts Receivable, Collections, client service, and financial operations.
• Act as the main point of contact for billing and collection inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Carry out billing, cash application, reconciliation, customer research, and exception handling tasks.
• Develop, assess, and suggest documentation necessary for customer billing processes.
• Address billing disputes and payment challenges through data analysis.
• Manage and resolve outstanding aging account balances.
• Implement collection strategies to enhance cash flow while ensuring adherence to policies and controls.
• Propose billing adjustments, write-offs, and customer refunds for management consideration.
• Generate billing and reconciliation reports.
• Identify customers at risk and collaborate with Sales, Management, customers, and other business partners.
• Evaluate customer needs and propose membership, structure, and billing solutions.
• Monitor trends that may indicate system or process issues and escalate them as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality of data integrity and comply with security and privacy regulations.
• Assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members while adapting to support business requirements.
• Two to four years of experience in Account Service or Banking/Accounts Receivable, or equivalent experience demonstrating the capacity to build effective relationships and resolve diverse issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in an ERP-based Accounts Receivable environment is preferred.
• Active Accounts Receivable Specialist Certification is preferred.
• Strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles.
• Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, research, resolution, data analysis, and multi-tasking abilities.
• A critical thinking and analytical, solution-focused mindset.
• Capability to perform detailed work with numerical data, analyze information, oversee assigned tasks and projects, make informed decisions, and meet tight deadlines.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and utilizing data to produce clear, comprehensive reports.
• Availability to work within the complete range of division operating hours.
• Clean credit history as noted in the credit report.
• For remote positions, a high level of engagement in virtual settings, including maintaining camera presence during meetings.
