This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee the entire accounts payable process.
• Examine, authenticate, and process invoices for payment.
• Foster supplier relationships, address payment discrepancies, and manage vendor inquiries.
• Reconcile invoices against purchase orders and receipts.
• Initiate and facilitate vendor payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH transactions.
• Generate accounts payable reports, detailing outstanding balances, cash flow forecasts, and aging reports.
• Monitor and regulate company expenses by assessing payment terms and negotiating vendor discounts.
• Identify and resolve issues, including disputes, late payments, and missing documentation.
• Execute ad hoc tasks as required by the role.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to work overnight/graveyard shifts during Philippine time or within US operational hours.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, SAP, or other relevant platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and account reconciliation.
• High level of accuracy in financial record-keeping and a keen eye for detail.
• Capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to adhere to payment deadlines.
• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is advantageous but not mandatory.
