Accounts Payable Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Manage daily accounts payable, cost tracking, and bookkeeping tasks.

• Ensure timely processing of bills, accounts, and supplier invoices.

• Review and verify incoming vendor bills, invoices, and payment requests.

• Validate expenses against corresponding invoices to ensure billing accuracy.

• Maintain comprehensive and precise records of all financial transactions.

• Monitor operational costs, including labor, equipment, and materials.

• Analyze actual costs against company budgets and identify any discrepancies.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor and general accounts inquiries.

• Liaise with suppliers and contractors regarding billing and payment timelines.

• Assist the Head of Finance with ad-hoc reporting and bookkeeping tasks.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and Business Management System (BMS) standards.

• Report directly to the Head of Finance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidate must be based in the Philippines.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a related role.

• Strong proficiency in computer skills.

• Experience with MYOB or similar accounting software is preferred.

• Familiarity with the waste management industry is advantageous.

• Exceptional attention to detail and precise data entry skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently.

• Ability to align with Australian business hours, approximately 9 AM–5 PM, Monday to Friday.

• Engagement as an independent contractor.

• Must disclose any current ongoing roles or client commitments.

• Engagement must be reflected on LinkedIn profile as “Independent Contractor.”
