Accounts Payable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Process weekly vendor payments using ACH, wire transfers, and EDI.

• Verify coding, approvals, and relevant documentation prior to entry into the ERP system and execute D365 3-way matches.

• Address inquiries regarding payment timing and terms, and assess shipping schedules to ascertain payment due dates.

• Comprehend all facets of invoicing, including following up on debit/credit memos based on current and future vendor shipments to prevent potential over-payments.

• Develop and sustain positive and effective relationships with business managers across departments to proactively identify and address issues impacting timely and accurate payment/procurement processes.

• Supply payment and vendor setup information to business managers and management teams to efficiently manage international vendor relationships.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of progressive accounts payable experience; full cycle AP and international import/export experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with large ERP systems, specifically Microsoft D365.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service and results.

• Capability to collaborate effectively as a cooperative member of a professional team.

• Proficiency in managing a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy.

• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles, including accruals, debit/credit journal entries, as well as Incoterms and commercial documents.

• Accurate 10-key entry by touch.
