Accounts Payable Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the accounts payable team, offering direction, support, and mentorship.

• Evaluate and authorize invoices for payment, ensuring correct coding, approvals, and documentation.

• Collaborate with internal teams to promptly address and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, including clarifying payment terms and addressing vendor inquiries.

• Partner closely with the accounting team to guarantee the precise recording and reporting of accounts payable transactions.

• Drive process enhancement initiatives aimed at optimizing accounts payable procedures and boosting efficiency.

• Oversee the preparation and processing of payment files.

• Ensure that all payment requests receive approval in line with company policies.

• Prepare journal entries and perform reconciliations.

• Carry out additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

• Familiarity with the dropshipping e-commerce business model and handling high volumes is preferred.

• Proficiency with Oracle is required.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an emphasis on continuous improvement.

• In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.

• Capability to sit, stand, perform general office tasks, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds; frequent bending, stooping, and reaching may be required.
