Accounts Payable Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Manage and process accounts payable transactions, including invoices, bills, and expense reports.

• Ensure timely and precise payments to vendors and service providers.

• Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies.

• Maintain organized financial records that are ready for auditing.

• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

• Communicate and coordinate effectively with US-based vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Identify opportunities to enhance accounts payable processes and workflows.

• Support the financial operations of a rapidly growing vacation rental business based in the US.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience supporting a US-based business (mandatory).

• Background in Accounts Payable or general accounting (junior to intermediate level).

• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar applications.

• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles.

• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (preferred).

• High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.

• Clear and professional communication skills, particularly with international stakeholders.

• A proactive, problem-solving approach.

• Capability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining collaboration.
