Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the timely and precise execution of the APJ month-end closing process.

• Ensure that reconciliations, journals, and schedules are completed within the specified deadlines.

• Present finalized outputs for review and approval by the Senior Manager.

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for senior management and external service providers.

• Manage the performance of outsourced providers in accordance with SLAs and KPIs.

• Proactively resolve issues and escalate matters when necessary.

• Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory financial statements.

• Coordinate audits and guarantee compliance with local regulations.

• Ensure adherence to local GAAP and regulatory standards.

• Manage the APJ Accountant.

• Maintain clear prioritization, accountability, and standards for delivery.

• Consolidate APJ intercompany positions and cash requirements.

• Provide forward-looking visibility for the upcoming quarter and an additional 60 days.

• Prepare recommendations regarding settlements and funding for the Senior Manager's review.

• Review indirect tax returns and related workbooks.

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submissions via external partners.

• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and documentation standards.

• Drive improvements in processes and promote the adoption of systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A qualified accountant (CA/CPA/ACCA).

• Extensive experience in multi-entity, multi-country accounting.

• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Experience in managing outsourced service providers.

• Strong knowledge of SOX environments.

• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
