Accounting Implementation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and facilitate software solutions for clients in the trades and construction sectors.

• Take ownership of the entire implementation process, from initial discovery and solution design to configuration, launch, and optimization.

• Collect business requirements and produce design documents, walkthrough guides, workflow diagrams, and solution specifications.

• Conduct product implementation and provide customer training for effective utilization.

• Oversee multiple enterprise implementations from start to finish, collaborating with project managers and business analysts.

• Create solution visions that resolve customer challenges and enhance support for end users and field teams.

• Lead discovery workshops and showcase software and workflow alternatives.

• Guide clients on best practices for chart of accounts, job costing, WIP, progress billing, and period-end closings.

• Resolve issues, fine-tune configurations, and adapt solutions as client businesses evolve.

• Collaborate with owners, CFOs, controllers, field operations teams, and other stakeholders.

• Showcase tailored QBO-centered solutions aligned with customer objectives.

• Assist colleagues in building solutions utilizing the complete range of company services.

• Contribute to delivery processes, templates, and enablement materials to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing, configuring, or administering QuickBooks Online, preferably for trades, construction, or project-based enterprises.

• Strong foundation in accounting principles (US GAAP), including accrual accounting, job costing, WIP, percentage-of-completion, AR/AP, payroll, sales tax, and month-end closing.

• Practical experience with JobTread, Knowify, ServiceTitan, Procore, CompanyCam, Bill.com, Ramp, Gusto, and Melio.

• Proven track record of successfully leading multiple concurrent enterprise implementations from start to finish, on schedule, within scope, and on budget.

• Capable of creating design documents, workflow diagrams, and configuration specifications that translate business requirements into functional systems.

• Outstanding facilitation and presentation abilities; adept at leading discovery workshops and presenting solutions to owners, controllers, and operations leaders.

• Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable managing a portfolio of client engagements entirely remotely.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification (Advanced preferred) — desirable but not mandatory.

• CPA, CMA, or active pursuit of certification — desirable but not mandatory.

• Previous experience at an accounting firm, fractional CFO/controller practice, or implementation/consulting team for construction or trades — desirable but not mandatory.

• Experience in integrating field operations tools with QBO — desirable but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with data migrations into QBO — desirable but not mandatory.

• Availability Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM US Pacific Standard Time.

• Must currently reside in the Philippines and be legally authorized to work there.
