This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Provide financial support to regional managers, territory directors, DVPs, and dental office proprietors.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and generally accepted accounting principles.
• Analyze and record both standard and non-standard journal entries.
• Calculate and process incentives for office and field personnel.
• Review proposals to modify P&L items or incentive calculations and assess the necessity of changes.
• Submit monthly incentive payments to payroll and respond to employee or field inquiries.
• Participate in monthly discussions with owners, DVPs, and Directors to address finance-related queries.
• Reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts on a monthly basis.
• Analyze accounts for inaccurate postings and reclassifications.
• Identify monthly adjusting entries for designated P&L categories.
• Prepare and disseminate regular and ad-hoc reports and analyses.
• Assist with requests for external annual audits.
• Support the preparation of quarterly financial statements and report packages.
• Collaborate with independent CPAs to provide financial information for tax return preparation.
• Manage cross-functional execution and documentation of financial close processes.
• Complete special projects and respond to ad-hoc requests.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Experience in public or private accounting within a large organization is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with a quick learning ability for new skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter capable of multitasking and completing assignments under tight deadlines.
