Accountant – Accounts Payable and Receivable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Independently conduct and efficiently manage payment processing runs.

• Assess incoming invoices to ensure tax compliance, particularly regarding the reverse-charge mechanism.

• Oversee open-item accounts and resolve any outstanding issues in accounts payable and receivable.

• Administer and execute posting procedures in DATEV and SAP.

• Serve as a key contact for inquiries related to accounts payable and receivable.

• Manage communications with suppliers and customers.

• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

• Contribute to the establishment and continuous enhancement of Bike2Future’s accounting systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of commercial or business administration training.

• Initial experience in accounts payable and receivable.

• Practical knowledge of DATEV.

• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.

• Attention to detail and a precise working style.

• Strong numerical skills.

• Keen interest in accounting and finance.

• Initial experience with intercompany reconciliation is advantageous.

• Proficiency in German (C1 level) is required.

• Conversational English skills.
