Account Representative, Medical EDI Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Serve as a liaison between medical billing clients and Quadax.

• Support clients with the setup, implementation, and daily operations of Xpeditor electronic claims processing software.

• Provide training to both current and new client personnel on product features and everyday usage.

• Evaluate reports to detect billing patterns.

• Introduce clients to additional products and features.

• Reach out to insurance payers to investigate unpaid or denied medical claims.

• Assist clients in developing and testing custom data conversions during the implementation phase.

• Travel by car and plane to Kansas City, Dallas/Fort Worth, Oklahoma City, and other regional locations.

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• 1–2 years of experience in medical billing or the healthcare revenue cycle industry.

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail with investigative and software troubleshooting capabilities.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Familiarity with medical billing practices or Electronic Data Interchange processes.

• Capacity to maintain professional relationships with various clients.

• Adequate public speaking skills.

• Prior experience working remotely is preferred.

• Willingness to travel by car/air approximately 30%–50% of the time.

• Ability to uphold confidentiality.

• Must reside in and have authorization to work in Missouri, Alabama, or Texas.
