Account Representative, Medical Billing Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Serve as a liaison between medical billing clients and Quadax.

• Represent Quadax in interactions with hospitals, physician practices, and internal personnel.

• Support clients with the setup, implementation, and daily utilization of the Xpeditor electronic claims processing software.

• Provide training for both current and new client staff on product features and daily operations.

• Analyze various reports to identify billing trends for clients.

• Introduce clients to additional products and features.

• Communicate with insurance payers to investigate reasons for unpaid medical claims or those that did not pass edits.

• Assist clients in drafting and testing custom data conversions during the implementation phase.

• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Associate's degree or higher in Health Administration or a related field.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or a related discipline.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Health Administration or a related discipline.

• Strong attention to detail with skills in investigation and software troubleshooting.

• Capability to multitask effectively.

• Familiarity with medical billing practices or Electronic Data Interchange processes.

• Ability to maintain professional relationships with various clients and communicate effectively.

• Willingness to learn essential functions across different departments and teams.

• Adequate public speaking abilities.

• Previous remote work experience is preferred.

• Flexibility to travel approximately 25%-30% of the time.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

• Intermediate skills in presentation.

• Intermediate customer service skills.

• Preferred intermediate billing skills.
