Account Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop or enhance the business portfolio by converting competitors' clients and transforming assigned medium-sized accounts into larger ones.

• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining regular contact and effectively managing customer expectations.

• Drive revenue growth and profitability through the acquisition of new business and the further development of existing accounts.

• Identify new leads through networking, cold calling, directories, and online research.

• Engage with customers in person to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.

• Comprehend complex customer needs for tailored quoting.

• Deliver impactful sales presentations while ensuring that technical requirements are fulfilled.

• Assist with on-site resolution of customer issues.

• Coordinate vendor resources to cultivate relationships and support sales efforts.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a bachelor's degree along with zero (0) to two (2) years of experience or an equivalent combination.

• Familiarity with industrial products such as power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other industrial goods.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong grasp of essential sales principles and best practices.

• Capability to influence customers while fostering healthy relationships.

• Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Strong multitasking capabilities and effective time management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Travel may be necessary.

• Availability for on-call duties during nights or weekends, as required.

• A valid driver's license is mandatory.

• All company vehicles will be subject to continuous video monitoring.
