Account Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Develop or enhance the business portfolio by converting business from competitors and growing assigned medium-sized accounts into larger ones.

• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining regular contact and managing customer expectations effectively.

• Boost revenue and profitability through the acquisition of new business and the development of existing client accounts.

• Create new leads through networking, cold calling, and extensive research of directories and online resources.

• Engage in face-to-face interactions with customers to strengthen relationships and sustain satisfaction.

• Grasp customer needs for tailored quoting.

• Present sales pitches and ensure that technical specifications are fulfilled.

• Provide assistance with on-site troubleshooting for customer issues.

• Collaborate with vendor resources to cultivate relationships and support sales efforts.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a bachelor's degree and zero (0) to two (2) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Familiarity with industrial products such as power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other industrial goods.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient knowledge of essential sales principles and best practices.

• Capability to influence clients while fostering positive relationships.

• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Competence in multitasking and effective time management.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools.

• Travel is required.

• Availability for on-call duties during nights or weekends may be necessary, based on demand.

• A valid driver's license is required.
