This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Meet sales targets in the designated territory through business development and account management.
• Establish and sustain relationships with targeted physicians, healthcare providers, and customers to promote Tolmar products.
• Generate, maintain, and enhance sales by influencing prescribing behaviors.
• Engage with healthcare providers and health-related organizations within the specified territory.
• Build connections with non-prescribing healthcare providers who can influence account decisions.
• Comprehend the effects of local purchasing coalitions, GPOs, IDNs, and other health entities.
• Offer contracting, training, technology troubleshooting, and continuous customer service to oncology and urology practices and hospitals.
• Identify the needs of practices for Tolmar’s proprietary Inventory Management System and oversee its implementation and training.
• Collaborate with other AMRs to manage overlapping accounts across different regions.
• Analyze weekly sales data reports and address business requirements.
• Communicate contract measurement details to accounts.
• Follow up on product interest leads and convert potential leads into active users.
• Provide or coordinate customer training sessions.
• Share clinical, technical, therapeutic, disease-state, and product information.
• Encourage appropriate on-label usage of approved products.
• Create and deliver customer-specific sales presentations.
• Maintain records of sales calls, trends, sampling, and territory performance data in the database.
• Complete routine reports and adhere to industry, regulatory, and company guidelines.
• Prepare annual business plans and conduct quarterly analyses of territory performance.
• Attend trade shows, community events, and company meetings.
• Manage promotional item inventory and budget in compliance with regulations.
• Keep daily CRM sales call entries, weekly company car mileage records, and perform required vehicle maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal departments and manage relationships both internally and externally to promote business growth.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance; operate in the field calling on customers from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day.
• Candidates must reside in the greater Seattle, WA area.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of successful business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the urology sector.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/buy-and-bill sales is preferred.
• Clinical experience is beneficial.
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
• Ability to be approved and insured to drive a company car, including a valid driver's license and clean driving history.
• Reside centrally within the territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to think strategically.
• Advanced organizational skills and follow-up capabilities.
• Proficient in negotiation and sales techniques with a proven record of accountability in executing sales plans.
• Aptitude for learning technical and scientific product-related information.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Capacity to handle multiple interruptions and tight deadlines.
• Ability to implement effective business plans for the assigned territory.
• Capability to develop working relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Initiative to act in the absence of detailed guidance.
• Ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, and compliance with industry ethical standards.
• Availability to work extra hours and weekends as required.
