This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Meet sales targets within the designated territory by engaging in business development and account management.
• Establish and nurture relationships with targeted physicians, healthcare providers, and customers to promote Tolmar products.
• Generate, sustain, and boost sales by influencing prescribing behaviors.
• Interact with healthcare providers and health-related organizations within the territory.
• Build relationships with non-prescribing healthcare providers who play a role in account decision-making.
• Gain an understanding of local purchasing coalitions, GPOs, IDNs, and other healthcare organizations.
• Deliver contracting, training, technology troubleshooting, and ongoing customer support to oncology and urology practices and hospitals.
• Identify requirements for Tolmar’s proprietary Inventory Management System and oversee its implementation and training.
• Collaborate with other AMRs to manage shared accounts across different regions.
• Analyze weekly sales data reports and address business needs accordingly.
• Communicate contract measurement specifics to accounts.
• Follow up on product interest leads and convert them into active users.
• Provide or coordinate customer training sessions.
• Share clinical, technical, therapeutic, disease-state, and product-related information.
• Advocate for the appropriate on-label use of approved products.
• Create and deliver sales presentations tailored to customers.
• Maintain databases that document sales calls, trends, objectives, sampling data, and territory performance.
• Complete reports and adhere to industry, regulatory, and company standards.
• Develop annual business plans and perform quarterly analyses of territory performance.
• Represent the organization at trade shows and community events.
• Attend and travel for company meetings.
• Manage promotional items, budget, and business relationships.
• Record sales calls in the CRM daily or as instructed, submit expense reports, and track company car mileage and maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support business initiatives.
• Undertake other assigned responsibilities.
• Candidates must live in the greater New Orleans area.
• A Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field is required.
• At least two years of successful business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the urology sector.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/buy-and-bill sales is preferred.
• Clinical experience is advantageous.
• A consistent history of surpassing sales quotas is necessary.
• Must be able to be approved and insured to drive a company car.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Must reside centrally within the territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and proven strategic thinking capability.
• Highly developed organizational and follow-up skills.
• Negotiation and selling techniques with a demonstrated accountability for executing sales plans.
• Ability to learn and understand technical and scientific product-related information.
• Capacity to work independently while managing multiple projects, interruptions, and tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in executing effective business plans for the assigned territory.
• Ability to establish internal and external customer relationships and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Initiative to act without specific direction.
• Good judgment, discretion, and adherence to industry ethical guidelines.
• Demonstrated assertive selling techniques.
• Consistent and punctual attendance.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 50%, including air travel as required.
