This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Meet sales targets in the designated territory through effective business development and account management.
• Build and sustain relationships with key physicians, healthcare professionals, and clients to advocate for Tolmar products.
• Generate, maintain, and boost sales by influencing prescribing practices.
• Engage with healthcare providers and health organizations within the assigned territory.
• Foster connections with non-prescribing healthcare practitioners who impact account decisions.
• Grasp the significance of purchasing coalitions, GPOs, IDNs, and other healthcare organizations.
• Offer oncology and urology practices as well as hospitals with contracting, training, technology support, and continuous customer service.
• Identify the needs of practices for Tolmar’s proprietary Inventory Management System and oversee its implementation and training.
• Collaborate with other Account Managers to manage accounts across various regions.
• Analyze weekly sales data reports and address business requirements.
• Relay contract measurement specifics to accounts.
• Follow up on leads, convert potential leads into active users, and arrange necessary training.
• Disseminate clinical, technical, therapeutic, disease-state, and product-related information.
• Promote approved products for appropriate on-label usage.
• Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations for customers.
• Keep current CRM/database records for sales calls, trends, objectives, sampling, and territory performance.
• Complete regular reports and adhere to industry, regulatory, and company standards.
• Prepare annual business plans and conduct quarterly analyses of territory performance.
• Represent the Company at trade shows and community events.
• Attend and travel for Company meetings.
• Manage promotional items, budgets, and business relationships.
• Submit expense reports, log sales calls in the CRM daily, record company car mileage weekly, and maintain the company vehicle.
• Collaborate with internal departments as necessary.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance; work in the field engaging with customers from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of proven business-to-business sales experience, ideally within the urology sector.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/buy-and-bill sales is preferred.
• Clinical experience is advantageous.
• Consistent history of surpassing sales quotas.
• Capability to be approved and insured to drive the company car, including a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must reside centrally within the designated territory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated strategic thinking.
• Advanced organizational and follow-up capabilities.
• Proven negotiation and selling techniques with accountability in executing sales strategies.
• Aptitude for understanding technical and scientific product-related information.
• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects.
• Capability to manage interruptions and meet tight deadlines.
• Competence in executing effective business plans for the assigned territory.
• Ability to cultivate internal and external working relationships and function as a team player.
• Proactive approach with the ability to take initiative without precise directions.
• Good judgment, discretion, and adherence to industry ethical guidelines.
• Assertive selling techniques, including consistently asking for business on every call.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds.
