Account Manager – Thermal Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Meet the annual sales objectives set forth by Sales Leadership.

• Expand existing accounts and cultivate new business opportunities within customer organizations.

• Evaluate customer markets, competitive environments, industry trends, and prospects for long-term growth.

• Develop and implement account strategies aimed at increasing customer engagement and enhancing sales of Boyd Thermal by Eaton products and services.

• Set strategic objectives and tactical plans that promote sustained business growth.

• Conduct regular visits to customers and engage in business development initiatives.

• Work in partnership with customer engineering and procurement teams to determine product requirements and assist in solution development with Boyd Engineering.

• Showcase products, prototypes, and solutions to clients.

• Oversee the quotation process and coordinate efforts with Sales Operations and Estimating teams.

• Manage discussions related to pricing, contracts, payment terms, shipping specifications, and customer issues.

• Track project progress and ensure the achievement of customer milestones and production timelines.

• Maintain opportunity pipelines, customer insights, and business activities within Salesforce CRM.

• Provide management with regular updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical account management, sales, program management, or a similar customer-facing position.

• Candidates must currently reside in California.

• Willingness to participate in frequent face-to-face meetings with customers.
