This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Independently organize, prepare, and facilitate indication-specific scientific discussions and meetings with community-based specialist physicians.
• Meet growth and revenue objectives for the relevant promoted products and portfolio.
• Identify and strategically oversee pertinent customer segments, specialist physicians, and specialized centers.
• Establish and nurture relationships with regional and national key opinion leaders, adhering to legal standards and Viatris’ internal guidelines.
• Analyze and actively contribute to the development of regional networks that impact prescribing behavior.
• Deliver evidence-based, indication-specific guidance on products, services, and treatment alternatives within the designated territory.
• Execute the relevant marketing and sales strategy, including personalized activity planning based on CRM and market insights.
• Proactively support therapy transitions and treatment initiations while ensuring the continuity of patient care.
• Act as a scientifically reliable point of contact within the specialist-physician segment to enhance Viatris brands.
• Plan, execute, and/or assist in regional and national scientific events (on-site, hybrid, or digital).
• Timely document activities, sample distributions, and customer information in the CRM system, currently Veeva/Salesforce.com.
• Report adverse events within 24 hours in compliance with legal and internal regulations.
• Manage administrative tasks such as expense reporting and reimbursements.
• Provide coverage for vacancies as needed.
• Several years of experience in field sales with prescription medicines (Rx), preferably in specialist-physician sales.
• Qualification as a pharmaceutical representative in alignment with Section 75 of the German Medicines Act (AMG).
• A degree in natural sciences or a medical/pharmaceutical background is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of the pharmacology in relevant therapeutic areas, including neurology, gastroenterology, and pain management.
• Experience in specialty or specialist-physician sales and familiarity with complex therapeutic areas is preferred.
• Strong customer orientation, professional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to cultivate long-term relationships.
• Proven sales proficiency, effective scientific communication and argumentation skills, with a strong emphasis on closing sales.
• Analytical and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of confidently interpreting regional market and healthcare utilization data.
• Team-oriented individual with excellent self-organization, digital skills, a structured working approach, and outstanding communication abilities.
• Class B driver’s license.
• Residence in or near the designated territory.
• Proficiency in English is preferred.
