This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Oversee and expand a territory of post-acute care clients and prospects across Iowa.
• Generate new business through various methods such as prospecting, networking, cold calling, and lead generation.
• Establish strategic partnerships with healthcare decision-makers.
• Conduct business reviews with customers to identify opportunities for operational and supply chain enhancements.
• Present and market medical-surgical products, equipment, and healthcare solutions using a consultative sales methodology.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to meet sales and profitability targets.
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through effective account management and customer service.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide product, service, and implementation solutions.
• Keep precise records of customer activities, pipeline, and opportunities within Salesforce CRM.
• Meet or surpass territory sales objectives.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional sales experience.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel throughout the designated territory.
• Candidates must be residents of the assigned Iowa territory.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Preferred experience in selling within post-acute care environments, including Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Rehabilitation Facilities, Home Health, Hospice, Durable Medical Equipment, and Wound Care.
• Experience in healthcare distribution, medical device, medical supply, or healthcare services sales.
• Demonstrated success in exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
• Familiarity with consultative selling, account planning, and customer business reviews.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic sales environment.
• Frequent local travel within the territory; limited overnight travel is anticipated.
• Ability to drive to customer locations throughout the territory.
