This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Implement the oncology brand strategy and tactical plans in the field.
• Achieve sales performance while managing the assigned territory and targeted accounts.
• Establish customer relationships and address customer needs to optimize both short- and long-term sales outcomes.
• Focus on the Haematology/Oncology portfolio, dedicating approximately 70% of efforts to Haematology and 30% to Oncology, including Solid Tumours.
• Meet sales performance metrics, brand indicators, financial targets, marketing goals, and other key objectives.
• Create and execute call plans to maximize coverage and frequency for key customers.
• Oversee multiple brands and indications in accordance with strategic guidance.
• Conduct pre- and post-call analysis and evaluations.
• Address objections and prompt calls to action during sales discussions.
• Gain insight into customer needs, territory market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical issues, and sales.
• Share market intelligence with field, brand, and sales teams.
• Articulate AbbVie’s value proposition to assigned healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Report adverse events within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Engage in WHS programs and advocate for a safe work environment.
• Comply with internal codes of conduct and compliance protocols.
• Carry out ad hoc administrative tasks.
• A preferred Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven specialty sales experience, ideally in Oncology, Haematology, Solid Tumours, or Urology.
• Ability to be agile and adaptable in selling a diverse product portfolio.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
• Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions with MSLs and the medical team.
• Skill in identifying customer styles/behaviors and adjusting the selling approach accordingly.
• Proficient in developing sales strategies based on insights.
• Ability to provide innovative ideas and solutions.
• Effective operation within a shared territory.
• Leadership and peer coaching skills.
• Documented success in leadership and support roles with increasing responsibilities.
• Capacity to influence others and act as a credible, respected role model and resource.
