This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Drive new business sales and profitability within a defined territory
• Commit to annual sales strategies, establish objectives, and predict monthly orders and revenue
• Achieve or surpass annual revenue and profit targets
• Monitor and report on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities
• Arrange tailored sales presentations for customers in visualization, surgical ophthalmology, and surgical oncology
• Provide training for surgeons, oncologists, and the staff of hospitals and clinics on product applications
• Educate and follow up with surgeons and staff regarding product operation, use, and applications
• Build and sustain customer and account relationships
• Create and implement marketing strategies specific to the region
• Assist with the introduction of new products and market launches
• Maintain, evaluate, and utilize territorial records and information, including SOM, CRM, AR, and DSO
• Deliver timely written and verbal communications to management regarding anticipated sales and planned monthly activities
• Foster collaboration opportunities with ZEISS team members, Carl Zeiss field service, other companies, and corporate partners
• Complete paperwork and submit required information accurately and punctually
• Advise local sales administration about customer orders and delivery schedules
• Review pending service requests with the Service team and provide support
• Engage in training and stay informed about technological advancements
• Maintain strong relationships with colleagues, service, and office staff
• Prioritize inquiries and requests, troubleshoot conflicts, and maintain focus on organizational objectives
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline, or a comparable blend of education and relevant industry experience
• At least three (3) years of experience in Strategic Account Management, Key Account Management, or a related commercial sales position
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience selling surgical capital equipment in the Operating Room (OR) setting is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders, influence decision-making, and drive business outcomes
• Strong skills in consultative selling, strategic account planning, and customer relationship management
• Proven experience in negotiating, developing, and managing commercial agreements and contracts
• Excellent presentation skills, including for executive-level and strategic account presentations
• Resourceful and solution-oriented, capable of prioritizing competing demands and recognizing growth opportunities
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities; adept at collaborating across cross-functional teams
• Self-driven and able to work independently in a dynamic, results-oriented environment
• Ability to adhere to applicable Company and ISO 9001 processes and procedures
