This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +7 more countries.
• Propel profitable growth within the designated territory by acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and enhancing market penetration.
• Formulate and implement a territory growth strategy that aligns with business objectives and sales goals.
• Cultivate and reinforce existing customer relationships while pursuing new business opportunities.
• Identify, target, and secure new clients in the Medical Device sector.
• Establish relationships across Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, Engineering, Marketing, and Business Development.
• Evaluate customer strategies, business drivers, market trends, and growth initiatives to pinpoint value-creation opportunities.
• Assess market trends, competitive actions, and customer requirements to facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Develop, maintain, and convert a pipeline of projects and commercial prospects, ensuring precise CRM management.
• Enhance account penetration and share of wallet through innovative applications, products, and services.
• Gain insight into Medical Device market requirements, product portfolios, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the customer portfolio with accountability for revenue, profitability, growth, and retention.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product Management, Quality, and Customer Service teams.
• Handle pricing and commercial negotiations with support from the Finance/Pricing Team.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
• Travel within the territory and internationally as necessary.
• Commercial or technical academic background.
• 4–8 years of experience in selling complex products, ideally in the Medical Device sector.
• Established track record in B2B sales, account management, and business development, preferably within Medical Device markets.
• Proven ability to drive territory growth through customer acquisition, account expansion, and opportunity development.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a solid grasp of profitability and value-based selling.
• Capability to build and manage a sales pipeline using a structured sales approach and CRM tools.
• Understanding of Medical Device market requirements and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with polymers and converting technologies is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce.com, and SAP is advantageous.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are beneficial.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively as required.
