This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Engage in selling the company's products and services by reaching out to both prospective and established clients.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans to foster new business opportunities and stimulate growth within the territory.
• Identify, nurture, and convert new business prospects across the Western United States.
• Advocate for MANE Kancor's diverse range of offerings, including spice extracts, oleoresins, natural colors, antioxidant systems, essential oils, and functional ingredients.
• Drive sales through both existing and new contacts.
• Achieve sales and profitability objectives.
• Assess account priorities and efforts based on their sales potential and strategic importance.
• Maintain sales initiatives and keep customers informed about services, pricing, and new product offerings.
• Utilize internal relationships and skills to foster growth in accounts and territories.
• Cultivate opportunities with food manufacturers, seasoning companies, ingredient processors, and flavor houses.
• Concentrate on the Oregon/Idaho food processing corridor along with other significant markets in the Western U.S.
• Grasp the business needs, products, and personnel of target accounts to effectively implement account strategies.
• Establish measurable annual goals and objectives that align with the objectives set by senior management.
• Represent MANE at industry trade shows, customer meetings, and within industry associations.
• Keep an eye on competitive activities and market trends.
• Coordinate efforts with MANE affiliates when necessary.
• Execute other responsibilities as assigned by management.
• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• Ideally, 4–7 years of experience in food ingredient sales is preferred.
• Background in selling spice extracts, oleoresins, natural colors, antioxidant systems, seasonings, essential oils, and/or functional ingredients is essential.
• A technical background would be beneficial.
• Experience in the flavor, seasoning, ingredient, or food manufacturing sectors is desirable.
• Proven track record of developing new business and expanding territories.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30–40% across the Western United States is required.
• Some international travel may also be necessary.
• Familiarity with flavors, seasonings, extracts, natural colors, antioxidants, and other food ingredients is essential.
• Proficient in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
• Capable of managing projects and time effectively.
• Exhibiting professionalism and leadership qualities is crucial.
• Strong communication and presentation capabilities are necessary.
• Experience in customer relationship management is expected.
• Ability to self-manage and adapt to changing circumstances is essential.
• Skills in new business development are required.
