This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee key targeted clients by enhancing relationships and uncovering future prospects
• Develop strategic business plans that align with both customer and organizational objectives
• Manage existing sales while pursuing new opportunities to maximize profitability and market presence
• Assist clients with new product design and qualification for essential accounts
• Formulate sales strategies for current and prospective accounts
• Work towards achieving departmental and company revenue targets and KPIs
• Oversee overall customer engagement, account satisfaction, and retention efforts
• Cultivate relationships with clients at various levels while maintaining internal collaborations
• Ensure timely and consistent delivery of customer-facing services
• Address or escalate customer service concerns with Operations, Quality, Expert Services, Procurement, and Production
• Collaborate with Compliance on regulations and customer impact
• Prepare forecasts, pricing documents, customer presentations, and analytical reports with trends and recommendations
• Guide the organization toward material qualification goals to enhance sales and customer penetration
• Relay customer feedback to R&D, Technical Service, Production, and Quality Assurance
• Contribute to the development of new products, market pricing, contract negotiations, and product qualification strategies
• Assist Inside Sales, Quality, and Production teams in acquiring, retaining, and expanding business
• Collaborate with clients and Toray to promptly address service issues
• Associate degree or equivalent experience is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Over 3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or account management
• Essential knowledge of composite materials, their properties, production processes, applications, part design engineering, and material fabrication
• Awareness of cost methods and financial principles
• Strong skills in presentation, time management, and teamwork
• Comfortable in developing professional relationships with both internal and external clients
• Preferred knowledge of ERP systems and prior ERP experience
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Capability to solve practical issues and address customer concerns effectively and efficiently
• Detail-oriented in composing and proofreading documents, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines
• Understanding of measurement conversions and both metric and standard weights
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Must have clear communication skills in written and verbal English
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
• Must adhere to PPE safety protocols
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Frequent travel to customer sites, manufacturing facilities, and business meetings is required
