Account Manager – HVAC, Data Centers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Drive the expansion of valve and automation solutions within the data center and HVAC sectors.

• Cultivate strategic partnerships with contractors, distributors, engineers, and OEMs.

• Engage with building automation firms, mechanical contractors, distributors, and consulting engineers.

• Provide support to skid manufacturers and building automation system contractors during the post-order phase.

• Anticipate customer requirements, respond swiftly, coordinate resources, and resolve issues effectively.

• Identify opportunities for sales growth with both new and existing clients.

• Formulate sales strategies aimed at acquiring new business.

• Deliver local service and support for Bray products throughout the designated trading area.

• Promote Bray Commercial Division products via sales calls, lunch-and-learn presentations, and other methods.

• Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and project execution both before and after order award.

• Utilize Bray’s CRM system to record and manage account relationships, customer requirements, follow-up actions, and sales opportunities.

• Keep track of new construction activities and opportunities within the district.

• Meet established sales objectives for the territory.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a four-year technical degree.

• At least three years of experience in a direct sales position within a business-to-business technical environment.

• Previous experience in Inside Sales and/or Application Engineering is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with data centers, HVAC, and/or controls is highly preferred.

• Possess strong electromechanical skills.

• Capability to diagnose technical problems and create practical solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in group presentations.

• Ability to meet goals through determination, professionalism, collaboration, and proactive customer support.

• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

• Access to dependable transportation and capability to manage travel logistics.

• Successful completion of background screening.

• Adherence to federal regulations, including drug testing for controlled substances.

• Sponsorship is not an option; candidates requiring current or future visa sponsorship will not be considered.
