This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Cultivate and oversee essential relationships with key stakeholders and producers through regular on-site visits, effective negotiation, prompt communication, problem-solving, and meeting client expectations.
• Serve as a liaison between home office departments and clients to facilitate plan enhancements and address administrative discrepancies.
• Arrange in-person pre-renewal meetings to present claims analyses, assess contract sufficiency, suggest coverage or contractual modifications, and manage amendments.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and underwriters to track renewal activities and devise tailored renewal strategies.
• Collect underwriting information, evaluate claims history, support renewals, and propose adjustments.
• Negotiate rates, contract terms, and administrative matters with Regional or National Accounts.
• Identify and advocate for additional coverage options or plan enhancements.
• Solicit and evaluate in-force proposal requests and present proposals to brokers and policyholders.
• Assist with the acquisition, submission, and implementation of National Accounts and Regional Accounts cases exceeding 500 lives.
• Lead the submission, setup, and installation of assigned new groups and provide support to new administrators at existing accounts.
• Facilitate the enrollment process, which includes preparing materials, leading enrollment meetings, and participating in benefit fairs.
• Contribute to business growth, profitability, and client retention through effective account management strategies.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5+ years of experience in group insurance account management within the 2500+ lives sector.
• Life and Disability insurance license valid for all states within the office’s assigned territory.
• Personal vehicle available for business use, accompanied by adequate insurance coverage.
• Clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel within the territory for in-person meetings with clients and brokers as needed.
• Must reside in one of the following states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and verification of employment, education, and licensing.
• Must be bondable.
