This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, oversee, and enhance relationships with current customer accounts while recognizing and securing new business opportunities.
• Promote and sell products and services utilizing a consultative, value-driven sales strategy.
• Carry out sales activities including prospecting calls, client visits, follow-ups, and account management planning.
• Prepare precise and comprehensive proposals and quotations for both existing and potential customers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to optimize value and profitability across accounts.
• Create and maintain customer value plans that highlight growth, share expansion, and revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical services to provide integrated customer solutions.
• Manage customer expectations and satisfaction through service level agreements and proactive communication.
• Establish monthly sales forecasts, monitor performance against targets, and report on progress.
• Oversee Day Sales Outstanding (DSO) and Accounts Receivable (AR) with customers and internal partners.
• Keep an eye on market conditions, competitive activities, and product applications to identify opportunities and potential risks.
• Participate in trade shows and industry events as necessary.
• Provide regular oral and written updates to management regarding customer needs, challenges, competitive activities, and growth prospects.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business field is required.
• A minimum of 7+ years of sales experience, ideally within the paper, packaging, or a related industrial/manufacturing sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage accounts from initial prospecting to contract closure using a consultative sales approach.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong business acumen with the capacity to comprehend customer needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Proficient in standard business and computer software; CRM experience is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed (at least 50%).
• Professional and polished demeanor with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
