Account Manager – Dealer Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary liaison for dealer leadership, which includes Dealer Principals, General Managers, Fixed Ops Directors, BDC Managers, and OEM field representatives.

• Foster trusted relationships that enhance long-term loyalty and strategic alignment.

• Execute proactive business reviews, executive updates, and maintain ongoing communication touchpoints.

• Manage the preparation for renewals, negotiation tactics, and contract execution for assigned accounts.

• Identify accounts at risk and work collaboratively on recovery strategies.

• Create annual and quarterly account plans that encompass goals, product adoption, expansion possibilities, and risk mitigation.

• Generate revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling of DMS, CRM, Service, and Marketing modules.

• Collaborate with Solution Performance Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to enhance product adoption and performance.

• Convert performance review findings into actionable account strategies.

• Track product utilization, customer satisfaction, support trends, and performance KPIs.

• Develop action plans for customer health risks and involve cross-functional teams in addressing escalations and workflow gaps.

• Work in partnership with Customer Success, Product, Support, Professional Services, and Marketing teams.

• Share field insights regarding product improvements, competitive challenges, adoption obstacles, and dealer operational requirements.

• Travel 60–75% based on territory size and dealer visitation needs.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience in automotive SaaS, dealership technology, or automotive retail operations.

• Strong knowledge of dealership workflows across fixed operations, variable operations, CRM, and marketing.

• Proven experience in managing a customer portfolio, with responsibility for retention and growth.

• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and presentation abilities.

• Capability to analyze data and convert insights into actionable recommendations for customers.

• Preferred: Familiarity with automotive DMS, CRM, Fix Ops Service Scheduling/Inspection, and Marketing platforms.

• Preferred: Experience in dealership operations (BDC, service lane, sales management, or digital marketing).

• Preferred: Knowledge of OEM programs, certification requirements, and compliance standards.

• Preferred: Demonstrated success using account planning methodologies (e.g., plan-on-a-page, mutual success plans, health scoring frameworks).
