Account Manager – Corrugated

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Establish a solid pipeline through cold calling, prospecting, and utilizing your network.

• Create and implement sales strategies to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the territory.

• Cultivate and enhance customer relationships by comprehending business objectives and delivering value-added solutions.

• Work in collaboration with internal teams to guarantee an outstanding customer experience and successful project delivery.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer purchasing processes and decision-making dynamics.

• Evaluate market conditions, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to pinpoint growth opportunities.

• Exhibit strong follow-through and accountability while fulfilling commitments and meeting customer expectations.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and share insights that promote customer and business success.

• Expand Georgia-Pacific’s custom corrugated packaging business across Dallas/Fort Worth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in sales, packaging, manufacturing, or a blend of related industry and commercial experience.

• Proven ability to generate value through business development, account management, sales, customer-facing roles, or related industry experience.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a history of establishing trust and long-term customer partnerships.

• Demonstrated follow-through and organizational capabilities.

• Capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities.

• Strong sales acumen and business judgment.

• Ability to recognize opportunities, comprehend customer decision-making processes, and influence purchasing decisions.

• Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven with a focus on ownership and accountability.

• Willingness and capacity to travel throughout the territory up to 75%.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

• Preferred: experience in selling corrugated packaging products.

• Preferred: experience in packaging-related sectors, including flexible films, tapes, adhesives, industrial packaging, converting, automation, or packaging machinery.

• Preferred: knowledge of the corrugated packaging market and competitive environment.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Must successfully pass a drug test where applicable.
