This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Build and sustain profitable relationships with OEM franchise automotive dealerships and local/regional OEM management teams.
• Enhance and develop CDC customers through program and training support in sales and marketing strategies, operations, and tire-category inventory management.
• Broaden the overall customer portfolio and enhance loyalty among existing CDC clients.
• Act as the main point of contact for CDC customers within the designated geographic area.
• Engage with and expand both current and potential customers, ensuring strong penetration among new car/truck dealerships.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with key decision-makers, presenting data-driven growth opportunities.
• Participate in sales forecasting and demand planning.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, Logistics, Sales Operations, and Finance teams.
• Leverage supply-chain expertise to enhance customer business.
• Utilize Salesforce.com to boost customer engagement and expand the business portfolio.
• Create and present tailored business plans while executing strategic initiatives.
• Achieve and surpass established sales targets and metrics.
• Organize dealer training sessions.
• Manage authorized vendor and internal marketing initiatives.
• Make use of available internal and external resources, systems, and tools.
• Apply extensive product knowledge to provide suitable recommendations.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated sales experience.
• Experience in the automotive or tire industry, or other relevant sales skills.
• Proficient in PC applications, particularly Salesforce.com and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to convert or transition leads into profitable sales.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
• Proficient in organizing and analyzing data for informed decision-making.
• Customer-centric mindset with a consultative sales approach.
• Strong critical thinking skills and a high level of business and financial acumen.
• Professional demeanor and effective virtual/in-person communication skills.
• Driven, self-directed, and results-focused.
• Ability to operate autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel overnight 0–25% of the time.
