Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Implement strategies aimed at enhancing sales performance within the designated territory.

• Achieve overall sales goals and product growth targets through effective demand generation.

• Introduce new products and service offerings while generating leads for new equipment.

• Exhibit solution-selling skills along with relevant technical expertise.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with identified hospitals and key personnel.

• Engage with customers in accordance with Zoetis promotional guidelines.

• Formulate and execute business plans for the territory along with resource allocation.

• Fulfill field activity expectations, encompassing sales calls and medical education initiatives.

• Develop and implement account-specific and veterinarian-level call cycles.

• Collaborate effectively with Zoetis Petcare colleagues while adhering to integrity, compliance, administrative duties, and teamwork standards.

• Travel within the designated area and participate in evening educational programs as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is required.

• 3-10 years of proven and successful consultative sales experience.

• Previous success in roles that involved creatively identifying opportunities or resolving issues to enhance sales performance.

• Knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine and experience in the Animal Health sector.

• Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the capability to learn Zoetis systems.

• Competence in managing assigned expense budgets.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a close team setting.

• Willingness and ability to travel and work some evenings as required by the role.

• All candidates must have or be able to obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
