This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.
• Implement strategies to enhance sales performance within the designated region.
• Achieve overall sales targets and important growth product quotas through effective demand generation.
• Introduce new products and service offerings while generating leads for new equipment.
• Showcase solution selling skills and develop relevant technical knowledge and expertise in veterinary practices.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with targeted hospitals and their personnel.
• Engage with customers in accordance with Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Create and execute a Territory Business Plan along with resource allocation strategies.
• Utilize Zoetis resources effectively and follow up to optimize return on investment (ROI).
• Fulfill field activity expectations, including sales calls and investments in medical education programs.
• Develop and implement account- and veterinarian-specific call cycles.
• Collaborate professionally with Zoetis Petcare colleagues while adhering to integrity, compliance, communication, administrative, and teamwork standards.
• Travel within the assigned territory and participate in some evening educational programs.
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is required.
• 3-10 years of proven and successful consultative sales experience.
• A track record of creatively identifying opportunities or resolving challenges to enhance sales performance.
• Embodies the qualities of a change agent, committed to continuous learning, and encouraging self and others to transcend conventional thinking.
• Leverages analytics and insights to improve decision-making and tactical execution.
• Demonstrates follow-through and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of managing designated expense budgets.
• Highly focused and results-driven, capable of identifying objectives and priorities while addressing issues at their inception.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a close-knit team environment; self-motivated.
• Background in Animal Health with knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
• Willingness to accept and integrate feedback.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• Capable of exercising sound judgment and making thoughtful, fair decisions based on relevant information.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and capable of learning Zoetis systems.
• Willingness to travel and work some evenings as necessary for the role.
• All applicants must have or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
• Eligibility for short-term incentive compensation.
